This position assures the Mission, Vision and Values of Oro Valley Hospital (OVH) are represented in all decisions for the delivery of services. It is a member of the Leadership Council and participates as a member of the management team.
Education:
* Associate's degree in nursing, nursing mangement, or closely related field required. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
Licenses / Certifications:
*
Current AZ RN license or compact state RN license required, as is CPR / BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
Experience:
* At least five (5) years experience in an emergency environment required, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory or management role. Five (5) or more years experience strongly preferred.
Skills:
* Ability to read, communicate, and document effectively through oral, written, or electronic means. Excellent skills in customer relations, employee communications, and supervision. Demonstrates the constant ability to prioritize and respond promptly to a changing workload. Ability to respond to multiple situations and questions that require sound judgements and action for quality patient care.Primary Locaiton: AZ-Oro Valley (Tucson region)
